Florida Sheriff’s Risk Management Fund Renovations:

Details

JRA was excited when the Florida Sheriff’s Risk Management Fund (FSRMF) selected us to help renovate their new home in Tallahassee. FSRMF purchased an existing three-story, 55,000 sf office building and working with JRA, designed a new headquarters. The renovated facility, which officially opened in January 2025, serves as a modern, multi-functional hub designed to support both internal operations and public engagement. The first floor features a 150-seat meeting room and training center, ideal for hosting large group sessions, workshops, and community events. Adjacent to this is a flexible 50-seat lecture space, which can seamlessly transform into a Board meeting room as needed, providing both functionality and adaptability for governance and presentation needs. This floor also includes a secure entry lobby to ensure controlled access for visitors and staff, as well as a staff cafeteria designed for comfort, collaboration, and convenience.

The second floor is dedicated to day-to-day operations and houses a mix of private single-person offices and open-plan work areas outfitted with modular furniture systems, supporting a dynamic and collaborative work environment. This layout encourages both focused work and team interaction, tailored to evolving workplace needs.

The third floor accommodates the agency’s executive and senior leadership teams. Similar to the second floor, it features a blend of private offices and modular open-plan workstations, providing flexibility while maintaining a professional atmosphere appropriate for upper management.

Throughout the building, thoughtful attention has been paid to functionality, flexibility, and user experience—ensuring the space supports the agency’s mission while fostering productivity, communication, and future growth.
