Casanas Village at Frenchtown Square

Casanas Village at Frenchtown Square is an 88 unit mixed-income workforce housing community in the heart of the Frenchtown Community in Tallahassee, Florida. It contains a blend of one, two and three-bedroom residences, with amenities that include a clubhouse/management office with cyber lounge, playground, outdoor covered picnic area and other resident-friendly features.  The project consists of a single five-story residential building and a leasing office located in the renovated Casanas family home on 448 W. Georgia Street. Other amenities include commercial bays for two “live/work lofts” and under-the-building parking in the first floor of the structure.  

The development complies with the design standards set forth by the City of Tallahassee and will exceed these local standards, most notably through receiving a Florida Green Building Coalition Certification as an environmentally friendly development.  Energy efficiency in design, materials and appliances will give the new living spaces a high quality, yet affordable housing option for the local workforce.
