JRA Architects, in conjunction with the Columbus Housing Authority, designed the new Ashley Station Housing Complex. Columbus’s 1950’s style government housing project, known as Peabody Apartments, was demolished to make room for this new multi-phased development. Renamed Ashley Station the new complex consists of more than 200 units in 12 separate buildings. Building types include both townhomes and garden apartments. The design also included a community building, housing offices, mailboxes, workout room, a computer room and laundry facilities. Unit sizes include one, two and three bedrooms.
