JRA was selected by the Bay County School Board to design the County's newest K-8 school. It is located adjacent to J.R. Arnold High School, which was also designed by JRA Architects.
The school consists of an "H" shaped main building with a separate detached Gymnasium. The center core of the building houses the Administration Suite, Media Center, Covered Play Area, shared ESE and Skills Labs and the Art Suite. All elementary classrooms are located in the rear of the school, which allows for segregation of the middle school and elementary populations. The middle school area is located adjacent to the Gymnasium. Both elementary playfields and middle school P.E. fields are provided onsite. The 165,000 square foot facility was completed on schedule and in-budget.
